It happened on a spring day that a herd of horses had come by and found RaineStorm curled up and barely able to move. It was the lead mare who took compassion on her and nursed her; since she had lost her own colt a few days back. The lead mare of the herd had soon decided to take RaineStorm in after hearing that her mother had vanished one day; after that, she was taught to take in orphaned foals. RaineStorm stayed with the herd until her adopted mother passed away and she soon moved on to find a herd of her own, or even a herd she could stand to live in.
