he hardly remembered anymore. it had been so long. the great stallion simply wandered now. he no longer went by his name. instead, he was a nomad. he traveled his lands by another name. many different names. no one recognized him, an no one cared. boreas' name was no longer spoken among the land. mirona had fallen into a form of decay. no magic held them together, no leaders roamed and protected the lands. boreas' lands did, however, remain frozen. but there was a sense of emptiness. a barrenness that could not be prevented.
the mighty percheron beast's powerful legs drew him over the wastelands. the ice creaked under his weight, but never gave through. the ice was thick enough to hold him, and were very much aware it seemed of his previous reign. yet there was also a sense of absence in himself as well. he no longer stood with the regal royalty and greatness he had originally. he was lost, lost in both his own thoughts and his memories. the stallion bore no resemblance to the mighty deity whom once ruled the land of plethora.
his head lifted slightly, his thick white mane gusting across his neck as an icy wind blew in his face. he inhaled, nostrils flaring drinking it in. with a sigh, the brute's feathered hooves turned his head around, looking behind him and looking over the land. it no longer held the beauty it once had. it was lifeless and dying. there was no magic to sustain it.

a small snort escaped the tiny muzzle as tiny hooves touched the matching white snow. the first day she was here it was almost too cold for her, but now the tiny filly, bright white coat and all, found this to be the perfect place to be. she kicked up some snow with her hoof, smiling in glee at it as it flew into the air and fell into the fresh snow. y'mora's new life seemed easy so far, but she did miss her mother, ever so slightly. it was not enough to make her want to see the dark bay mare again, but it was enough to bother the young filly. she drifted her thoughts back to snow, kicking it around a little more.
how could she leave me? she left, probably with a stallion. going to go have more offspring and abandon them. useless. how freaking useless! her thoughts grimaced in her mind, distracting her from the beauty of the snow, the scenery of the mountains and sparse trees. as much as the fir trees were alive and well, it was the dead trees that interested her. why were they there? how had they died? it was questions she wondered while she walked, not really caring to ask, or having anyone to ask. she was alone in this new world. alone in the whole world. a tiny filly in the big, wide, scary world. she snorted again, clearing the snow from her nose.
she clicked her hooves together slightly, enjoying the sound. she tossed her head around, her fuzzy mane barely moving. it was fun to be here but she was scared of being alone. what if she was alone forever? she continued her skipping, her head bobbing side to side and she suddenly ran into something. she hit an object, warm and soft, and bounced backwards. she fell on her butt, and looked up to see a horse's hindquarter. instinct told her to stand up quickly and she scrambled to collect her tiny feet beneath her as he seemed to get bigger with each second she stared at him. y'mora scrambled and looked at the horse in front of her. at first she was scared, but it suddenly turned to annoyance. this horse had interrupted her skipping! she walked to the front of the horse, finally cluing in to how big it was, and she stood in front of it promptly, her nose stuck in the air trying to act intimidating. "you interrupted my skipping!" she said, her tiny voice sounding like nothing.
