HABITS: - running away from his past. not answering direct questions. patting the ground with his hooves when uneasy. HISTORY: long ago, before the mirona was even created, two horses, the creators of the earth and the land gave birth to four great stallions. they were designated the lifetime job of watching over the world that the two gods had created. boreas was given the job of looking after the north wind. to give the land its cold, its snow, to let the animals of mirona hibernate. he was even given his own land, to which he named the frozen lands of plethora, to which he could keep covered in ice and snow all year round. and he did this job very well for thousands of years. him and his brothers lived side by side and ruled the land of mirona as they years went by. they did not age, and remained youthful and handsome. they took on mates, occasionally. however boreas remained by himself, unable to deal with them eventually passing off without him while he remained. magic was fruitful in mirona, horses alike learned to control many elements. there was peace all through the land through thousands of generations. however, notus had begun to grow uneasy. he wanted power over all of the lands. he wanted to be the only ruler of mirona. gaia and ouranos had long since died, now spirits in the night sky watching over them. notus was jealous of his brothers powers and devotions, attacking them all one at a time in order to conquer everything they had and be the ruler. however, that did not end up as he planned, for something happened and the devastating battle ended with the four brothers disappearing. they were gone for hundreds of years, not heard of nor seen of again. the magic of the land began to disappear along with the hope and the belief of the deities. no one believed in the gods any longer, and with it hope for their return turned to stone. no one seems to remember the gods. and if they do it is a blind, fleeting thought that they were taught from those who did still faithfully believe. however, boreas has returned. he is but a shadow of the royal equine he once was. a ghost of himself, he wanders his lands, going by many names save his true one. no one recognizes him and he hardly recognizes himself either. the once tall and mighty and powerful deity is but a speck of dust among the rest of the equines struggling to survive in mirona.
