A heavy sigh exhaled from the mare, who looked to be the color of blood. Not dried blood, but shinny blood that comes just as skin breaks open to air. Four long pillars stretched down to the ground, though they weren't as slim as her Thoroughbred bloodline might have made them. They were muscular, but long. Each leg had a ivory white stocking reaching up to her hock. The hairs then went slightly black before turning bloody red once more. Velocity appeared quite graceful as she stared up at the castle. A beautiful castle, at one point, was now over grown with strong vines and other various plants. The limestone structure fascinated Velocity in ways that others could not. It was large and hundreds of years old. However, it continued standing strong through every storm and whatever the weather brought. A smirk danced on her maw as she began going forward, toward what could maybe be her new home. At least it would give her a place to stay for the time being.
Her limbs reached out as she extended forward, covering ground in a hurry. Velocity came to an entrance that was vine covered, however the stone was still seen quite clearly. She took one look at the gloomy sky that appeared ready to rain down at any moment and frowned. Velocity disliked rain, but enjoyed the gloomy day. Water just wasn't something she found enjoyable. In fact, for no reason, Velocity hated it. Snickering, she bent her neck back to the curved position and entered into the castle without hesitation. Upon entering, she looked up at the abyss ceiling and all that was in the castle. Her hooves clanked an empty sound into the large building as she strolled forward. Her muzzle brushed against various objects, wondering what they were or what they had been. Velocity continued looking through the area before finding her way down another hallway. This was appeared more elaborate than before. The ceiling was much higher and more rounded. A few stones had crumbled here, but still provided a roof that didn't allow the weather in. Silence surrounded her, but not for long. The rain outside began pouring down, creating a beating sound. Somewhere, water was dripping through and it was echoing.
Velocity, having enough for the day, found a small room that appeared to keep out the rain, but also to keep her safe from anything trying to intrude including an animal or another equine. Velocity, always a bit of a fighter, wasn't in the mood. Her attitude was drained with all her energy and she only longed for sleep now. Positioning her 16.2 hand body into a corner, Velocity's breathing began to slow. Her back foot grew cocked and her eyes fluttered closed and slowly Velocity began to drift away.
