RaineStorm sighed as she laid beside Shade. They had walked for some time now and he had just now came down ill. She knew that she needed to find him some water to drink to ease his coughing, but she didn't know where any was. RaineStorm laid her head over the yearling and sighed as she soon stood up. "Stay here, I will search for water." she said and soon went on her journey. She worried about Shade, but at times it would last only a little while or it could last for days. She didn't even know what he had but she did know that it was because he didn't have him mother right there. Shade stayed where he was left, but as he laid on his side, he soon found that it did not work out so well. Getting up, he shook his yearling body and looked around. He knew there was someone here, but he didn't know for sure. Shifting his weight, he soon when the trail his mother had taken, but he soon had gotten lost. Hanging his head for a second, he coughed hard, which almost made him topple over. Sighing he lifted his head and trudged back the way he had come.

He had no duties to attend to at the moment, with only the tiniest seed of a herd growing in the land that he had claimed as his own. However, on the breeze came the scent of two more strangers, at least strangers to him for the time being. The wind bore a hint of sickness, something that would have to be rectified if Enyzi found the source of the scent. Deciding that he couldn't let anyone sicken and die that walked so close to his lands, Enyzi forwent his actual intent as unimportant and instead followed the scent, finding it growing stronger as he passed a trail through the grass, where it seemed that the pair that he had scented had split up. Making one of the two choices that was open to him, Enyzi followed the scent of illness. He could hear the shifting of hooves on earth before he saw the black yearling. Stopping, he held his head high, regarding the youngster before his deep voice rumbled from his barrel of a chest. "What are you doing here, youngster?"~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Words: 205 Tagged: Raine Notes: Sorry for the wait on this. Shade turned quickly and looked at the draft that stood in front of him. He shivered because he knew the stallion wasn't happy about him being there. "Hello." He whispered. "I am looking for my momma." Shade looked up at the stallion and stood with his head lowered trying to hold back another round of coughs. His eyes were dull as he stood there waiting.
RaineStorm had started back to her son when she caught another scent mixed with Shade's. She turned to the path where she was sure Shade had went. Taking off, she flew to her son because she knew that not all stallions would understand Shade. Veering around the stallion and stood in front of Shade. Her head was low; waiting to see what the stallion would do. "Has my son done something?" She asked as she lifted her head as she looked back to Shade who had come up beside her. She nuzzled him softly and nodded over to a puddle she had seen. As he walked over to it, she turned back to the stallion. "I know you caught the scent of his illness." She bluntly stated. "But I asure you; he is far from death's.
